Whether traveling in Punjab or helping someone find their way, knowing how to give (or understand) directions is super practical.
2️⃣ Key Vocabulary
- ਸੱਜੇ (sajje) – Right
- ਖੱਬੇ (khabbe) – Left
- ਸਿੱਧੇ (sidhē) – Straight
- ਨੇੜੇ (nēṛe) – Nearby
- ਦੂਰ (dūr) – Far
- ਰੁਕੋ (ruko) – Stop
3️⃣ Common Phrases
- ਸਿੱਧੇ ਜਾਓ।
Sidhē jāo.
→ Go straight. - ਸੱਜੇ ਮੁੜੋ।
Sajje muṛo.
→ Turn right. - ਖੱਬੇ ਮੁੜੋ।
Khabbe muṛo.
→ Turn left. - ਇੱਥੇ ਰੁਕੋ।

4️⃣ Putting It Together
- ਸਿੱਧੇ ਜਾਓ, ਫਿਰ ਸੱਜੇ ਮੁੜੋ।
Sidhē jāo, phir sajje muṛo.
→ Go straight, then turn right. - ਖੱਬੇ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਓ, ਬੈਂਕ ਨੇੜੇ ਹੈ।
Khabbe val jāo, bank nēṛe hai.
→ Go left, the bank is nearby.
