2. Practice Tips
- Listen to the numbers in Punjabi songs — they often pop up in folk lyrics.
- Try counting objects in your home using Punjabi numbers only.
- Group them into sets (11–15, then 16–20) to make memorizing easier.
3. Sentences with Numbers
- ਮੇਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਪੰਦਰਾਂ ਸਾਲ ਹੈ।
(Mērī umar pandrāṁ sāla hai.) → I am 15 years old. - ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਵੀਹ ਸੇਬ ਹਨ।
(Mērē kōl vīh sēb han.) → I have 20 apples. - ਸਾਡੀ ਕਲਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਹਨ।
(Sāḍī kalās vic tērāṁ vidiārthī han.) → There are 13 students in our class.
